Why visiting CHET is a must for your school or group?
At CHET, our residential learning experiences unlock opportunities that simply can’t be replicated in a traditional classroom. Stepping away from familiar surroundings is motivating, exciting, and deeply stimulating for young minds and the positive impact lasts long after students return home.
CHET hosts schools from across the region, delivering a wide-range of activities designed to complement every aspect of the school curriculum – from physical education challenges and team-building exercises to hands-on environmental studies.
Additional information
Here at CHET we primarily offer two-night residential visits for groups of primary school aged children in Year 2 – Year 6. We can also accomodate visits from other organised groups and uniformed associations such as guides/scouts.
We can occasionally accommodate day visits or one-night stays at our quieter times of the year (usually early September, December, early January, or late July).
We can accommodate up to 63 children plus 10 adults.
We offer a safe and secure environment with sole occupancy to all residential groups. This means peace of mind for both parents and teachers as each group has the place to themselves!
Whilst here, your group is treated as part of our CHET family. Every visit is bespoke and organised to meet the needs of your group. An individual timetable is prepared based on your activity preferences, the ages of the children, the time of year and the group size. All activities are led by our friendly and experienced instructors. Meals chosen by you from our menu are lovingly prepared on site by our fabulous cooks who are all trained in food hygiene and allergy awareness.
