Our Bedroom Plan
In the main building there are 48 beds plus 6 beds for adults (all beds are bunk beds). Rooms are fitted with wash basins and a cupboard with shelves for storage. Additional camp beds can be placed in several bedrooms (marked below with *) to increase capacity to 54 children in the main building. 2 further adults can be accomodated on camp beds in the library above the old barn if necessary.
Additional beds are located across the courtyard in Peacock Cottage where up to 9 children can sleep on bunks in two bedrooms (4 and 5 beds) with 2 adults in a downstairs bedroom, bringing the total capacity of the centre to 63 children plus 10 adults.
The toilets and showers are cubicle in style with three showers and two toilets on the ground floor and three showers and three toilets on the first floor. There is a separate bathroom for staff and an accessible toilet/shower room plus additional toilets in the old barn.


Deliciously fresh home-cooked food
Our fabulous cooks prepare a bespoke menu for your group based on your choice of meals from the wide selection we have on offer. We offer a hot meal at both lunch time and in the evening and a wide choice of cereals and toast for breakfast. We use locally sourced, fresh ingredients whenever possible. All our cooks are trained in food hygiene and allergy awareness, and we can cater for almost all special dietary requirements.
Learning & Activities
Abseiling
Learn to abseil down the side of our new purpose-built tower. This will test trust, courage and confidence and helps to builds resilience, determination and how to calculate and control risk. It will leave you with a great sense of achievement!
Adventure Course
Archaeology
Participate in an archaeological excavation where you will find Stone Age, Egyptian or artefacts from the Classical world. This activity is in conjunction with The University of Liverpool and can support a related history topic at school.
Archery
Learn to shoot arrows at targets in our specifically designed indoor range. Learning this skill teaches children hand/eye co-ordination and resilience. Patience and perseverance is required.

Through generous donations from individuals, fund raising events and charitable trusts we may be able to provide financial assistance for some children.
